The wine.co.za team enjoyed the chocolate and wine pairing at Waterford Winery - at their beautiful venue just outside Stellenbosch. My favourite was the Masala Dark Choc with the Shiraz.. and in fact the Sweet Family Reserve was a lucky discovery as I then had dessert for my dinner I was planning for that night! There are pungent naartie orchards, lavendar bunches, ducks, a classic central fountain, and the venue gives off such a general quiet sense of calm and well-being.
