Jean-Vincent Ridon of Signal Hill wines is keen to gather a Team South Africa to go to the World Blind Tasting Challenge.The inaugural SA Wine Tasting Competition was held on 31 August 2013 at the Hilton Hotel in the Cape Town City Centre. It drew consumers, trade, wine industry people, media and curious on-lookers! The procedure was to taste, sighted, a set of wines (46 in total) and then to have 10 wines tasted blind selected from the 46 and for the entrant to identify the wine and various attributes related to it.
