Bruwer Raats & Gavin Slabbert are cousins and seem to have a great connection to the land and to wine and grapes! They have just launched a new initiative called B Vintners, where they find interesting blocks of vineyards and then make wines which really express their terroir and uniqueness. There are 4 wines in this first launch. Unusually for Bruwer there is a Pinotage, a Pinot Noir, a bone-dry Muscat d’ Alexandrie and a white blend. Here are a few pics of the launch, but watch this space.. I am sure these 2 will continue to create really interesting wines.
