Launch of Quest wines & Melissa's at Du Toitskloof

There is definitely a raising of the bar all round. The quality of wine in South Africa is at an all time high, and Du Toitskloof wines continue to overdeliver on quality. We attended the launch of their new QUEST Heroes Journey range - consisting of a delicious MCC but will have Non-Vintage in future, as well as 2 red blends - a Rhone & Bordeaux. These were very favourably received at the launch at the Rawsonville cellar yesterday. Du Toitskloof really are making a difference with a massive R4m income generated towards their Fairtrade brands, making a huge difference in their farm-working community of 1600 people across 22 farms. We were also blown away by the Nebbiolo at a mere R42 from the cellar - and many of us purchased cases after the event. Really excellent value! And my case is already nearly finished! The recently opening of Melissa's at Du Toitskloof seems to be overdue as they are always busy and already planning to open a deck above the restaurant! We enjoyed really delicious waterblommetjie bredie, which I paired with their Nebbiolo.
