The gatherings we have monthly with the gay professional networking group called Conversations is usually held in a swanky venue in the city of Cape Town, but in February we brought them all out to a real farm in Stellenbosch - at Middelvlei - for a real boerebraai. Everyone loved being out in the country! There is always an inspiring speaker or 2 at these events, and we had a young group called The Gender and Sex Project, and 3 of these enthusiastic young adults spoke to us about how they raise the issues of gender and sex at schools.
