The third session of the Winetech study groups kicked off in Worcester/Breedekloof on Thursday 22 June 2017. The topics included the emptying of barrels, storage, maintenance and re-use of barrels, cleaning and sanitizing of barrels, the utilization of used barrels. Cultivars discussed were Pinot Noir and Cinsaut, including a wine tasting.
