Team South Africa and Team Zimbabwe (the best tasters in these countries) from South African Wine Tasting Championships had their last training on Tuesday 3 Oct with Nederburg, headed again by team coach Jean Vincent Ridon. The teams will be representing Africa at the World Blind Wine Tasting Championships on Sat 14th Oct in Burgundy in France, taking on the 2016 winners China. TEAM ZIM is comprised of Tongai Joseph Dhafana(Captain), Tinashe Gwese, Tinashe Nyamudoka & Pardon Taguzu. The teams leave South Africa on Sunday 8th Oct, and the invincible Jean Vincent Ridon - aka Team Coach, has hired a van to take Team African on a whirlwind tour through his native France and also a quick stop in Germany before they put their taste buds to the test on Saturday 14th Oct in Burgundy.
