Pebbles continues #changinglives in the winelands - pics from the 2018 AGM

I am always super proud to be involved with The Pebbles Project.  They have grown in leaps and bounds and in the very difficult current financial climate we find ourselves in, where NPOs are closing down, it is impressive to see their fund base growing and also to see the constant growth in the areas they reach, from Citrusdal to Hemel en Aarde and tons inbetween.
I attended their 2018 AGM at the Joostenburg Conference venue on Thurs 23 August and for the first time, each of the areas which they focus on were represented by a stand and the people who work in that area.  Each was professionally presented and attended, from their Nutrition, Health, ECD, After school, Baby programs and more.  Huge focus on education which is exactly what South Africa needs.
In the last year alone they have reached over 1700 children, never mind the thousands of others over the 13 years they have been around.
Well done to founder Sophia Warner, who, understandably was quite emotional when presenting and taking us through their enormous achievements over the years.
This photo album shows a few of their achievements, and with some of the top donors over the years being well thanked and represented.
