When I think of Steenberg I automatically exhale. The picture that comes to mind is one of me staring out onto the Steenberg Mountain with a glass of their Brut 1682 Chardonnay NV in hand. You can choose where you would like to be seated whilst you enjoy your tipple. Their wine tasting offers guests a selection of wine tasting experiences, with a Wine Tasting Bar, Tasting Lounge and Outdoor Terrace to choose from. Steenberg boasts the title of being the oldest registered farm in the Cape, established in 1682. The more modern version of Steenberg sports a 5-Star Hotel, with 24 rooms. For the hungry there are two restaurants to choose from. Catharina’s has a more formal feel while Bistro Sixteen82 offers a more bistro-style dining experience.
