The Winetech study groups 2 were recently presented to cellar assistants in the participating areas of Botriver, Stellenbosch, Breedekloof, Robertson, Wellington, Paarl, Swartland, Franschhoek and Olifants river. Cellar assistants attended Afrikaans and English study groups and learned more about the destemming and crushing of grapes, as well as cooling of the grape mash. During the wine tasting faulty wines were compared to control wines. Participation is free of charge to permanently employed cellar assistants.
