South Africa can trace its first wine harvest back to 2nd Feb 1659 (not many countries can do this) and so this year, we celebrate 363 years of wine harvests - and also honour those who have made a significant impact on the world of wine in South Africa The mother of the South African wine world, Groot Constantia, hosts the annual commemorative event and this was the first in 2 years since Covid put a stop to things physical and social.
