On Monday 13 March, Sauvignon Blanc South Africa welcomed 50 wine judges from 19 nationalities across 4 continents to the South African Winelands – and we could not be more proud! The Concours Mondial du Sauvignon the biggest and most significant international competition dedicated to Sauvignon Blanc organised by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, this year hosted outside of Europe for the first time in its 14-year history. At the welcoming event on Monday, the judges to a proper #ProudlySouthAfrican braai at Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa. Speakers welcomed the judges and then the 2022 Agri's got Talent winner Jasmine Bones performed. At dinner, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the spread of lamb chops, chicken, boerewors, salads, vegetables, potato bake, malva pudding, peppermint tart, and more.
