The first 14 wine estates in South Africa have formed a collective to celebrate 50 years of the Wine of Origin Scheme and their Wine Estate status. To mark this auspicious anniversary, a combined celebration was held at Groot Constantia Estate on 1 June. A panel discussion was held, with select representatives from the estates as well André Matthee from the Wine and Spirit Board and Christine Rudman, a Cape Wine Master. To read more, click HERE.
