On 20 February, we joined Pebbles Project for a small ceremony for the handover of donations and gifts from Masuda, a Japanese wine importer, at the Pebbles ECD Centre on Villiera, Stellenbosch. They raised funds through a sales promotion with Hartenberg and other local wineries in support of Pebbles Project’s cause: Enriching the lives of children from disadvantaged farming communities in the Cape Winelands and surrounds. This visit is part of the 30 Japanese visitors' South African winelands trip, called the Big Wave SA Wine Tour. They include wine trade, sommeliers, Masuda staff, and consumers.
