Anri and Jeanine enjoyed a tasting hosted by Georgio Meletiou, Spier's resident sommelier and wine experience manager, at the Spier Tasting Room. Wines that were featured were their Good Natured reds and whites as well as their Seaward range. On arrival, we were spoiled with a glass of Spier Brut Chardonnay Pinot Noir 2021. Then we moved over to our first flight of white wines which were Good Natured Sauvignon Blanc 2023, Good Natured Chenin Blanc 2023, Seaward Sauvignon Blanc 2023, and the Seaward Chardonnay 2023. Then we moved over to the reds in the second flight which consisted of the Good Natured Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon 2021, Good Natured Shiraz 2021, Seaward Cabernet Sauvignon 2021, and the Seaward Shiraz 2021. We then took in the beautiful tranquil surroundings and enjoyed our very tasty charcuterie platter sipping the wine. Definitely a must-visit for wine enthusiasts!
