The winners of the 2024 Cabernet Franc Challenge were unveiled at the awards lunch on Wednesday afternoon 17 April 2024 at Stellenbosch Vineyards. The overall winning wine was the Mitre’s Edge 2021 Cabernet Franc 2021. The Mitre's Edge team received the Cobie van Oort Cabernet Franc Challenge Trophy for this achievement. Björn van Oort of CVO Marketing announced the winners, and afterwards guests had the opportunity to taste the competition's top performing Cabernet Franc wines. Chef Craig Cormack of SALT prepared delicious wood-fired pizzas for lunch, which went well with the Cabernet Francs. Click HERE for the press release and the full results.
