News24food launch at TTK Fledglings

Luke Dale-Roberts is a busy and passionate chef and one of his lastest projects is TTK Fledglings, also at Old Biscuit Mill near Salon  The fledglings refers to the young people he takes on to upskill them in the kitchen and prep them for the world of hospitality.

News24 launched their FOOD section 6 months ago and chose TTK Fledgling as the host of their celebrations - as they highly value the impact of a business making a difference in South Africa.  I concur!  The food was beautiful, simply divine presentation and each morsel tittilated the taste buds. I sat opposite the newly awarded Errieda du Toit, and she was charmed by the food, especially the apple tart dessert, which she said was warm and comforting like home food, with the pastry being buttery and perfect.
Errieda was recently recognised and awarded as winner of an SA Chefs Presidents Award for doing what she loves. An honour to be in her company.

Each guest also left the launch celebrations with a beautiful and individually signed bottle of UBUNTU Extra Virgin Olive oil, South Africa's first 100% black owned Extra Virgin Oil producer.  Watch this space - the charming founder Luyiso Manga is going places!
