‘The Travelling Classroom—the school that comes to you’—are two mobile computer and library classrooms that have significantly impacted rural areas in the Cape Winelands District of the Western Cape, South Africa. This inspiring initiative, initiated by leading premium wine producer DGB, has doubled its capacity with the recent unveiling by Minister of Agriculture, John Steenhuisen, of a second state-of-the-art mobile learning facility, which took place at Alfons Primary School in Paarl on 10 February 2025.
