Van Loveren Family Vineyards hosted a pre-Cape Wine 2025 celebration on 8 September 2025 at Neil Ellis Winery. The evening was a perfect blend of fine wine, high stakes, and gourmet indulgence, featuring exceptional wines from Christina, Neil Ellis, Survivor, and Zandvliet – each highlighting outstanding cultivars from seven renowned regions. Guests enjoyed casual gambling, superb food and wine pairings, and a spectacular fire show performance that lit up the night. The highlight of the evening was the intimate masterclass wine tastings, hosted in our atmospheric vinoteque, where just 12 guests at a time had the rare opportunity to engage one-on-one with the winemakers. Presentations were led by celebrated winemakers Warren Ellis (Neil Ellis), Chris Crafford (Christina), Pierre Wahl (Survivor), and Jacques Cilliers (Zandvliet). Each canapé was thoughtfully paired with one of our award-winning wines and expertly prepared by The Goose Roasters. The celebration took place in the beautifully renovated Neil Ellis tasting room, soon to be transformed into their new tasting room and restaurant. With the majestic Simonsberg and Botmaskop mountains as a backdrop, it truly was a perfect evening.
