The Hemel-en-Aarde Valley is certainly one of the most picturesque and so while I was in the neighbourhood, I popped in to see the Bosman Hermanus Tasting Room, which really must have one of the most scenic views in the valley, with sunbirds flitting about in the proteas. Bosman is a WWF Conservation Champion so your vista is populated by pristine fynbos and the birdlife to go with it. It was good to catch up with their tasting room team, Libia Mrima and Philane Matshoba, who trained with our DTC Academy last year. Do yourself a favour, visit for a tasting or a coffee and relax - and soon all your troubles will be off in the valley. There is a wonderful stoep, lawn and jungle gym for the kids to have a ball too. Bosman offers delicious sharing plates and crispy flatbread, perfectly complementing the wine-tasting experience, which are served at the Frame House.
