The launch of Franschhoek Art in Clay at La Motte

La Motte
The launch of Franschhoek Art in Clay was held in the La Motte Museum on Saturday 1 October 2011. The exhibition in the La Motte Museum is called Potters no Longer with us showing historically significant pottery from the Iziko Museum and the CeramicsSA collection from Rust and Vrede.

On the picture with some ceramics from late ceramic artist, Tim Morris, are Emily Morris (daughter of Tim Morris), David Walters (ceramic artist and organiser of Franschhoek Art in Clay) and Ingrid Maritz of the La Motte Museum.

At the launch of Franschhoek Art in Clay in the La Motte Museum: Susan Liegner, chair person of the Durbanville Culture Society with David Walters (ceramic artist and organiser of Franschhoek Art in Clay), Rooksana Omar (CEO of Iziko Museum) and Esther Esmyol of Iziko Museum.
