Pebbles Project has been operating for 18 years now, since 2004. They currently employ 100 dedicated staff members across the Western Cape, making a huge difference in 1 600+ children's lives, providing stimulating education, nutrition, access to health, art, and activities to both children and adults on the wine farms where they live and work. Their open day, held on Friday 9 September at Villiera Wines outside Stellenbosch, was abuzz with people coming to see all their mobile facilities: A library, toy library, and wellness centres. Plus, they also had the opportunity to see the brand-new clinic and skills centre, which Pebbles Project has just put up on Villiera farm near their offices. Villiera continue to be generous donors of the land, without whom the project would really struggle.
