The Absa Top 10 Pinotage awards is hosted annually in August. This annual judging process brings together renowned wine experts to meticulously evaluate the finest Pinotage wines in the industry. In its commitment to recognising excellence and promoting the artistry of Pinotage winemaking, the Pinotage Association has assembled a distinguished panel of judges for this year's competition. The panel comprises of five distinguished South African wine experts, each possessing a wealth of knowledge and experience in the world of wine: Samarie Smith (2023 panel convener), Fred Viljoen, Rodrick Siziba, Etienne Louw and Anton Swart.
