The Stellenbosch Wine Routes Ubuntu Trophy took place on Monday 11 December 2023, at the picturesque Lanzerac in Stellenbosch. Team Zimbabwe went head to head with Team South Africa for the Ubuntu Sommeliers' Trophy. The top 3 South Africans competed against the top 3 Zimbabweans in the grand finale. On the stage, broadcast worldwide, the two teams faced a series of challenges, testing their talent, culinary and beverage knowledge, and their capacity to deliver an exceptional experience to the guests. In a tight competition, Team South Africa emerged as the winners. The Best Zimbabwean candidate was crowned as the Best Sommelier of Zimbabwe 2023: Tadiswa Chikwanha.Congrats to all!
