Inter Hotel Challenge 2024 Johannesburg Launch at Sandton Sun

The Inter Hotel Challenge, arranged by Showcook (Annette Kesler and Chania Morritt-Smith), is an annual competition where 32 hotels around South Africa nominate their best and brightest young hospitality industry professionals to participate, learn, and hone their skills. The hotel and restaurant service categories are concierges, wine stewards, mixologists, chefs, pastry chefs, bakers, and baristas.

The 2024 Johannesburg candidates were introduced on Saturday, 3 August 2024 at the launch and orientation day hosted at the luxury Sandton hotel, Sandton Sun.

The winners of the 2024 Inter Hotel Challenge will be announced at a glittering awards dinner towards the end of the year. Winners win extraordinary prizes and it really does help to catapult many of these young passionate people to new heights.
