This is the 4th year of this competition, run by Annette Kesler & Chania Morritt-Smith of Showcook.com. The aim of the excercise is to uplift, inspire and reward those young up and coming chefs and wine stewards. Various hotel schools and chef schools participate and this year it was the turn of the Cape Town Hotel School's (CPUT) Thandoxolo Nqaphayi to win the best Wine Steward and Stirling Shaw & Natalie Pinto from SA Chefs Academy to win best young chefs. Kitchen Aid has been a very loyal supporter of this competition and the winners walk away with plenty of prizes from them. Lucky them!
