L'Ávenir hosted this 2nd Rootstock session for the year. The topic was Sommeliers and we had the board of SASA (Sommeliers Association of SA) presenting their portfolios - covering: • Wine by the glass• Trends• Do’s and Don’ts• The impact of liquor legislation• Advice to the wine industry, and various other issues around what value a sommelier brings and what their roles are - for the establishment, for the industry and towards the guest. The role very clearly is to guide the guest into an experience which where their dreams come true!
