The Du Toitskloof Wine Writer of the Year competition recognizes and rewards the contribution of South African wine writers to the wine industry. Wine writers have to submit an unpublished article on a topic chosen annually by the judging panel to encourage in-depth commentary and research work on topical issues and current affairs that impact the wine industry.
