Compagniesdrift receiving German Parliamentary delegation

Compagniesdrift, a bottling, storage, labelling and now also wine-making BEE company is situated on the R310, and regularly receives visitors from various governmental agencies.  On Friday 7th April, a Delegation from the German Parliament took a tour through the facility with a view for future investment.

They were accompanied by Mr RD Kolja Barch (the Secretariat of the German Parliament), Mr Erik Schneider (Head of the Agricultural Department at the German Embassy in Pretoria) and Ms Renate Lydia Wolf, their interpreter.

The delegation comprised various members of the Parliamentary Committee on Food and Agriculture, viz Mr Alois Gerig, Mr Artur Auernhammer, Mr Hermann Farber, Ms Rita Hagl-Kehl, Dr Wilhelm Priesmeier, Dr Kirsten Tackmann and Mr Haral Ebner,  and were treated to a tasting of some of their wines - presented by Roselien Malgas
