Compagniesdrift is one of the few successful BEE projects in the South Africa winelands, and the children of the workers at Compagniesdrift now also benefit through being educated at the nearby Lynedoch Early Learning Centre at the Sustainability Institute, and then go on to the Spark Primary School at the same premises. MD of Compagniesdrift, Ilse Ruthford, comments that the children are so proud to be learning English, and come back to their offices after school greeting them in English!
