The Cape Winemakers' Guild is a very select group of winemakers, who are invited to be a part of the CWG. The annual VIP tasting is a very special tasting, as each winemaker presents the wine which they have made specifically for the auction, which cannot be acquired elsewhere. The Auction will be held at Spier on 30 Sept, so get your paddles ready! There are some really awesome wines so I hope I win the Lotto before then!The Guild has grown consistently over the years with 49 members currently - with only 2 of them being women - viz Andrea Mullineux and Rianie Strijdom. This year there were 2 new members presenting their wines - Bruwer Raats and Morney Vrey from Delaire Graff.Watch out for The Love Boat from Adi Badenhorst & Duncan Savage for a fun and interesting wine!
