The Nederburg Auction is changing its format this year, so instead of 2 days of auction - there is a one-day auction - to be held on the Saturday (16th Sept). The Friday will be only an informal pre-tasting.There are a number of older wines on auction - and I felt in good company as I tasted the Chateau Libertas 1967, which incidentally is Fiona McDonald's vintage - she turning 50 this year!There were considerable 'Oohs' and 'Aaahs' at the Noble Late Harvest table... so I reckon the stickies will get quite a bit of attention.
