It is Trade tasting season - and last night we attended the Morvino tasting at the V&A Waterfront - at Ginja. Very scrummy canapes!The setting was really beautiful with Table Mountain setting the scene, and I am glad we got there early so that we had time to talk to many of the winemakers and marketers. I would suggest that the wineries do not have their backs to the lovely view and light - as it was difficult for us to see their faces as we looked into the light!Zevenwacht wines did not disappoint, and I am interested to try the new Weltervrede wines when they come out for our Nose Your Wine game. We were spoilt for choice with Painted Wolf, Strydom(Rianie), Miles Mossop (yum Introduction Red), Aurelia(MCC from Lukas Wentzel), Louis Nel, Driehoek and an interesting Gin called A Mari was really good.
