Wine on the River in Robertson

I have always wanted to attend one of the quieter festival events in Robertson and so when the invite for Wine on the River came up, I was delighted.  A day on the banks of the Breede River with tutored tastings by some of South Africa's top wineries is not too shabby a way to spend a Friday.
The festival runs for 3 days, with almost every winery in the valley showcasing its wares, and of course it is not just wine as there is coffee, calamari, pizza, ice cream and plenty more to enjoy, and of course to top it all - there is the jolly double-decker boat on the river, tripping off into the sunset.
