A few of us at wine.co.za were invited to enjoy the 16 course taste menu at Gate restaurant on Quoin Rock Wine Farm outside Stellenbosch. On arrival you notice that the building mirrors the surroundings and you get a sense of something out of the ordinary. Chef Rikku and his team has created a theatrical dining experience, marrying a taste for the avant-garde with the freshest produce of the land. It's a battle of the senses and an experience hard to forget.
