The 2019 Winetech Afrikaans and Xhosa study groups were recently presented in the participating areas of Botriver, Stellenbosch, Breedekloof, Robertson, Paarl, Wellington, Swartland and Franschhoek and Orange river. Participants learned more about the composition and ripening of grapes, as well as the receival and off-loading of grapes. During the wine tasting faulty wines were compared to control wines. Participation is free of charge to permanently employed cellar assistants. Prior booking and the confirmation of names and ID numbers are essential.
