Genevieve unveiled its Blanc de Blancs Cap Classique 2013 at a relaxed gathering on Tuesday 3 October 2023 at the SeaBreeze Fish and Shell bistro in Cape Town. Select media, sommeliers and restaurant managers attended this launch to be the first to taste winemaker Melissa Nelsen's 10 year old bubbly. The wine was beautifully paired with seafood dishes by the SeaBreeze team. The Genevieve Blanc de Blancs Cap Classique 2013 has been perfected through the Recently Disgorged (RD) method. The vintage dazzles with a complex dance of fruit and brioche notes. The unique cool-climate terroir of Bot River, caressed by winds from Walker Bay and Bot River Lagoon, brings a rare complexity and depth to this exquisite sparkling wine.
