On Thursday evening, 9 May, we attended the Durbanville Sauvignon Soirée 2025 at Nitida Wine Estate, an exclusive evening celebrating the launch of the 2025 Durbanville Sauvignon Blanc – the fourth vintage of this now-iconic regional collaboration. Once again, wines from ten of the valley’s top producers were submitted and carefully blended to create what many consider the finest expression of this project to date. We were among the first to taste this exceptional wine alongside current releases from all ten producers of the Durbanville Sauvignon Blanc. The evening also included a special tasting of Sauvignon Blanc SA's Top 10 wines, live music, and canapés by Cassia Restaurant – all in celebration of Sauvignon Blanc, the region’s champion variety.
