In the midst of winter, Tulbagh Tourism annually presents its own Christmas in Winter festival. This year, Tulbagh Christmas in Winter took place on the weekend of 27-29 June 2025. The whole valley comes together to host locals and tourists alike for a Christmas-themed celebration like no other, complete with a Christmas-decorated village, a food and crafts market, wine tastings, traditional Christmas dinners, live entertainment, and kids' activities. My husband and I had so much fun attending the festival for the first time. We joined in the festivities in the village and visited some of the participating wine farms for wine tastings.
