TWO OCEANS, FIVE WINES, FIVE TEAMS, MORE FLAVOURS AND FUN

Some of the Cape's leading food, drinks and lifestyle writers met on a beautiful spring day in October to take up the Cooking and Caring challenge issued by the Two Oceans wine brand. This involved making a dish with fish given the green light by the WWF SASSI, (Southern African Sustainable Seafood Initiative), paired with a Two Oceans wine.

To fuel their creativity guests were served polenta muffins topped with smoked chicken, basil and avocado salsa, pear crisps and cherry tomato slices.
Nibbles included red pesto-crusted cubes of sirloin with fresh basil and slow-roasted cherry tomatoes.

Libyan Uprising paired with Two Oceans Shiraz Rosé. Team members include Dirk Odendaal (Whatsupcapetown.com), Kristoff Adelbert (Restaurantrevelations.com), Nikki Dumas (Winstyle.biz), Jane-Anne Hobbs Rayner (Scrumptious SA).
Two Sides of the Ocean paired with Two Oceans Pinot Noir. Team members include Johann Crafford (Planeetwyn.co.za), Ayesha Raman (Thegreentimes.co.za), Anel Grobler (Spitorswallow.co.za) and Amy Hopkins (Horizons; Khuluma).
